The Royal Oak derives its name from the oak tree, which used to mark The Cross in the centre of Welshpool and has been part of the history of Welshpool for more than 350 years. Formerly the Manor House of the Earls of Powis and Coaching Stop the hotel has 25 en suite bedrooms, bar and restaurant, as well as full conference facilities.
