The De Vere Dunston Hall Hotel is picturesquely set in 150 acres of wooded Norfolk forest and benefits from its own golf course and health spa. Located less than five miles from both Norwich Castle and the historic city centre, you can relax in the hotel and visit attractions at your ease or relax in the beautiful countryside. With complimentary parking, air conditioned meeting rooms and complimentary WiFi in public areas, this hotel accommodates both your business and leisure needs.
The swimming pool and spa are very relaxing and immedidiately felt relaxed after spending an hour in there!

What a fab place Norwich is. it has trendy, student bars and clubs and a great sense of history with the castle and cathedral. The lanes provide the little shops that make exploring a new city intersting and if shopping is your passion Norwich has alll the major names you would expect. we stayed in the de vere dunston hotel. Its a victorian manor situated up a beautiful sweeping drive just 3 miles from Norwich. it offers the delights of a country retreat and the opportunity to explore norwich and surrounding area.. the room was a good standard with the usual faciliites you expect from a 4 star hotel. The hotel also has a spa, treatment rooms and a swimming pool.. The staff are friendly and helpful and its easy to pamper and spoil yourself. The Dunston has an 18 hole golf course but you don't have to be a golfer to appreciate the hotel and area.. After the largest buffet breakfast you can imagine there is plenty to see and do. there are a number of National Trust properties within 10 miles of the hotel. Blickling Hall is my favourite. It is Jacobean and has 55 acres for you to explore. You can even hire cycles to get round !. There is a steam railway in th area an Cromer which a delightful seaside resort is not too far. All in all this area has much to offer and the Dunston makes a great base.
A beautiful location and stunning hotel steeped in history with fantastic grounds. The staff on the whole were excellent and we were made to feel really special - a weekend to remember. Just one minor gripe - why did the people who greeted us in the breakfast room have to be so rude? Food was great and one of the chefs even asked if our breakfast was ok. We will go again.but just give breakfast a miss if the rude staff are working.
