Leicester is a good looking city in the heart of the Midlands, and this hotel which has nearly a hundred rooms is a good place to base yourself if you are getting to know the area. The establishment is well suited to business and leisure travellers with a series of meeting rooms as well as a café bar built in where you can relax after a long day in the office or sightseeing.
Tariff from just £19 per room per night (Single, Double, Family & Disabled Rooms)
Right, first entered the room and saw a tiny kettle, something about right for Warwick Davies! It was a family room we were in too! The TV was a small portable one with hardly any channels & not very good picture unlike Hinckley Road which had widescreen LCD TV with more channels. The lights in the room were wonky; had to straighten them out; there was no soap in the bathroom and no sugar in hotel for hot drinks. The only food outlet nearby was Burger King; its opening hours were 11am-7pm & it costs an absolute fortune - nearly £9 just for a normal burger meal! The only positive thing overall about the hotel was the comfy bed but, apart from that, I wouldn't stay there again due to knowing it was nowhere near as good as Hinckley Road. That lodge even had pub next door & shops two mins down road; this lacked too much for needs! - ste_201079
