The Brookhouse is set in its own spectacular country garden. The building has gained a Grade II listing. It was converted into a hotel in 1976 and boasts lots of original features and antique furniture. Each room has its own television, radio, telephone, tea- and coffee-making facilities, and luxurious en-suite facilities. Some rooms are suitable for those with limited mobility. The hotel's restaurant has become quite renowned for serving excellent food. The menu feature mostly British dishes with French elements. The hotel is close to the River Dove and is just a short drive from the A38.
