Part of the Thistle group, this hotel offers the same high standards as one would expect from any of the establishments in this chain. Located close to the centre of Cheltenham, there is a great deal to see and do locally. The award winning in-house restaurant is a fine place to sample a great menu and wine list. All rooms have been fitted with first class amenities.
An interesting place in which to make a brief visit. Lots of interesting buildings and expensive private schools but a bit thin on the ground with decent pubs. Witches of Eastwick - A really enjoyable production performed by local people in the Bacon Theatre.
Adjoining rooms great for family with kids. Half Board worth it food was great. the staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel a little tired but very clean, beds so comfortable.
Great place from which to tour some of the lovliest countryside in England, coupled with good food and leisure facilities at the Cheltenham Thistle.
My wife and I like Cheltenham both as an interesting area and good shopping. Plenty of small eating places at reasonable prices so that we can snack during the day. The Thistle hotel is only a short bus journey from Cheltenham and Gloucester making it an ideal location for vistiing either city
