A 16th century coaching inn, this hotel has retained much of the traditional charm of its former existence, and blended that with a range of modern amenities that make 21st Century guests feel at home. The rooms are well decorated and offer a place of rest and relaxation away from the stresses of the modern world. The staff is friendly and attentive and there is a great restaurant and bar on-site.
We had a short stop over at this hotel. We had a reasonable, if small room and showerroom. The evening meal was fine. The pillows were really hard so affected our sleep. We were really disappointed with the cooked breakfast, lots of grease on the plate and extremely hard fried eggs. Wouldn't put me off trying a stay again though.
