Historic Bolebroke Castle is steeped in history dating all the way back to around 1480. Used by Henry VIII for hunting trips, the castle is also one of the locations filmed in the successful movie ‘The Other Boleyn Girl.’ Set in 30 acres of land, guests staying within the castle can explore rooms packed with original character features and 16th Century furniture. Guests have the opportunity to take part in a tour of the castle or even a medieval banquet. The castle also has its own miniature railway. Visitors can also explore the nearby village of Hartfield which is famous for featuring in the ‘Winnie the Pooh’ stories by A. Milne.
