A great base for exploring Eastbourne, the Cavendish Hotel has been serving guests for more than a century. Taking its name after the 7th Duke of Devonshire, the hotel has a traditional ambience yet is facilitated with modern amenities to cater to 21st century needs. Guests can avail of around the clock room service or dine downstairs at the seafood restaurant boasting scenic views of the coast. Evening drinks can be enjoyed at the Coronet Bar, which has a large drinks menu and beach views.
The Cavendish has been refurbished recently to standard that all similiar UK hotels should emulate. the staff are always polite and helpful.
We just rested
We enjoyed the sunshine with long walks along the seafront. The shopping centre too.
A complete rest and change of scenery. A trip down memory lane. I came here with my parents at least 55 years ago. Having a picnic lunch on the beach on the 4th Nov in shirt sleves
Once again visited Eastbourne with my mother for convalesence and short break. Had a good rest and a lovely time. The Cavendish Hotel really is a very welcoming hotel, clean, friendly and relaxed. Cant wait to get back!
