A good and full weekend in Brighton. An excellent record & CD fair was held at the Brighton centre on Sunday.
Good restaurant in the Lanes - Donatelli
On arriving in Brighton decided to look for a great place to eat we wondered down the roadside looking at the traffic! it was only after a while we decided to cross the road and a whole new world was before us. If you go down onto the beach edge thre is a whole array of excellent bars/cafes a total hive of activity. We found a place called The Terrace where we enjoyed afternoon tea-yes cucumber sandwiches, smoked salmon sandwiches together with scones with clotted cream and strawberries and grapes dipped in chocolate, what more could a girl ask for!!!! On the Sunday morning bright and early 11.00!!! we took a walk down there Brighton was coming to life again and a row of stall holders greeted us selling a mixture of jewellery, clothes and other exciting fashions.A excellent place for a weekend away especially if the sun is shinning.
If you go to Brighton you must visit Brighton Pavilion, it's sinply awesome. also go round the lanes, some good shops with some things you won't find anywhere else. for getting around simply walk.everything is close together, and there is a good seafront to walk down.
The restaurant was shut. The room was small. The windows only opened a couple of inches. No air conditioning, but I did manage to borrow a fan
