Took a stroll round Lewes later that day, some shops open but most people go to B'ton so I was told.Lovely town. Great views of South Downs from bedroom window.Weather was gorgeous all w/e which helped.Had wonderful massage in Hotel.Def.go again.

This was a working trip. the hotel staff were excellent, especially in the restaurant. the bedroom was comfortable

Accomodation was excellent for a nights stay. It was well located to the venue so this meant that it was well within walkin distance. The hotel staff were excellent and helpful and the breakfast was also very welcomed. I enjoyed the leisure facilities which were also excellent Overall an excellent time had and the location was a real bonus along with the leisure facilites. Rooms in serious need of refurbishment

We went to Lewes for a family wedding and a lot of the guests stayed in our hotel, which made the whole weekend more enjoyable. Meanwhile... We went into Brighton on one of the days and it is a lovely fun and cosmopolitan place to be. the open top bus is brilliant and allows you to find places and get on and off with the smallest amount of effort, which is a big must when going out and about with my partner! we had our lunch at one of the pubs on the Marina and that is also a lovely place, free parking too! Which is a bonus. Lewes is central to coastal areas but also has a lot to offer eg gardens, castle, shops and riverside views etc.

We went away for a night as a celebration of 3 family members passing exams. We planned to spend the evening in the hotel. We ate in the carvery which was average 'cos it was the end of the evenings sitting. (all a bit dried out!) We chatted and laughed in our room and enjoyed each others company. Then drove off to visit the south coast the next day. Frank Bruno's do downstairs on Fri night also provided some entertainment.
