At the centre of the widest street in Britain at the heart of Marlborough, this historic hotel has been in place for many hundreds of years. The service is second to none and the friendly staff is happy to assist you in any way they can. All of the rooms have been well furnished and offer a range of modern amenities as standard to make you feel at home.
The Castle and Ball hotel is tired and worn out. Room was drab drab drab. Needs a refurb badly. Marlboorough is very pleasant - lots of nice pubs and good coffee shops. Most retaurants belong to chains which is a shame but we found a great Italian just east of the high street.
