At the top of the East Cliff, overlooking the charming town of Bournemouth, there are few better spots from which to explore the community and this area of the south coast of England. All of the rooms have been furnished to a high standard and include a range of modern amenities as standard. The in-house restaurant has an extensive menu and a fine wine list.

Tariff from 42 per room per night

I Really enjoyed our break. The hotel was fantastic with a room with stunning sea view views. The staff were extremely friendly and we arrived six hours early on our first day(as we decided to bk a room in travelodge at last min) and the staff let us park in a space. Breakfast at cliff side was excellent with a rather jolly waiter. Area stunning. Lovely break all round and will return to that hotel or there sister hotels (which we were allowed to use facilities) next year. The superbreak vouchers purchased for me for xmas were the best gift ive ever recieved!

The hotel was fine with the exception that the lift was out of order and the average age of customers was in excess of 76.

We booked and paid to stay at the Suncliffe Hotel, but there were no rooms available on arrival and we had been rebooked, by the hotel, into the Cliffeside hotel, next door. Staff training and supervision need drastic attention. eg. the barman in the lounge bar would not serve drinks to a table - you had to go to the bar to collect, although the lounge was empty! Had to put in a list of remedial work necessary in bedroom eg. bathroom door hanging on one hinge, other hinge broken. Light bulbs out. No plug in washbasin, etc. All items were corrected within a day. Sadly, for the same price, a really professional hotel holiday could be enjoyed 'on the continent'. With enthusiastic skilled management the hotel could be vastly improved. It is in a good clifftop position (If you are active, or have a car).

I love Bournemouth - beach is excellent; even though I visited in February the weather was ok if a bit chilly. The Cliffeside Hotel is adequate; I've visited other 3 star hotels in the same road and they are much nicer in terms of breakfast and decor. The lift is small and had apparently been out of action for a week when I got there. I wouldn't recommend the hotel

Visited the pier, popped to Monkey World - about 30 mins drive and well worth the effort. The beach was great very clean and lots of space. We travelled by car, plenty of parking spaces around the town. A great place to go even with 2 young children like us. Monkey World was about 30 mins drive but well worth the trip and the oceanarium is good value to. I would not stay at this hotel again though with small children if you intend to eat in the hotel. dinner is not untill 6.30pm, which could be too late for small chidren.
