The Pear Tree is an exclusive hotel situated just outside the village of Purton near Swindon. Positioned in 7 1/2 acres of grounds, the Victorian gardens have charming views over the surrounding Cotswold hills. The oldest part of the house dates from 1430 around the time of Henry VI and Joan of Arc, although the house was actually moved stone by stone to it's present site in 1912. There are 17 individually designed bedrooms with private bathrooms, satellite TV, Wi-Fi Internet access and fresh fruit.
