All rooms refurbished 2007/ 8 and have a comfortable lounge area. All ground floor rooms have patio doors leading directly to furnished terraces and landscaped gardens. All rooms include TV & satellite, mini bar, tea & coffee, free parking and all other conveniences expected in a first class hotel. The Restaurant occupies part of the original hotel dating back to 17th century. The oak-beamed restaurant, lit by oil lamps in the evening, retains many original features and open fires. The area has a wealth of historical places of interest to visit as well as being a major destination for walkers.
