Arrived to find that the hotel had no record of the reservation. made to feel that i was looking for a deal. Hotel accepted my copy of the reservation.
The lack of parking facilities ruined our break as we had to park in sainsburys car park and keep returning every 3 hours to top up as there were no spaces in the hotel or so we were told. I will never stay there again, we usually stay in th Holiday inn near the hoe and the parking there is not a problem, like i said it ruined our stay, also the reception staff were not too cheerful!
We visited Plymouth specifically to see Russell Watson in concert at the Plymouth Pavillions. It was a wonderful, memorable evening and a lovely way to celebrate our 43rd wedding anniversary.
Really loved my two days in Durham - hotel nice and close to the town centre and cathedral. Steep hill though which tried my joints! Managed to visit the cathedral and attend a fine concert and have a good meal out with my son who I was visiting. Had a relaxing coffee in the friendly Hollorans - nice, young and friendly staff. Hotel lunch time food very average - few people there. Bedroom very small and a little shabby, milk out of date in the fridge. However just small gripes as the hotel was otherwise comfortable.
Copthorne Hotel well positioned for walking around Plymouth and pleasant bar for drink after all that sightseeing!. Plymouth hoe lovely to walk around, with views across the bay. Looking forward to seeing it in the sun!. Most memorable part for son was seeing the manager of Plymouth FC in the restaurant!
