To be honest we only stayed overnight as we were visiting my sister so didn't do anything touristy at all. In respect of the hotel - it didn't have it's own carpark which meant parking was expensive.
My elderly parents travelled to Plymouth with me by car. They both have limited mobility and my mum in particular cannot walk more than a few hundred yards. It was a great shame that there was no parking available at the hotel given these circumstances. There was parking at a neighbouring store, but this was closed overnight. So when we went out for a meal I had to look for on-street parking overnight.
Good break. Room was clean and comfortable. Ice machine was available near the lift!
I had booked to see both parts of Nicholas Nickleby at the Theatre Royal Plymouth. As I do not drive and could not get back to Exeter by public transport, I had to spend the night in Plymouth and then decided to stay for 2 nights. Jurys Hotel in Plymouth is in an excellent position as I could walk everywhere I needed to get to. A very comfortable hotel with very pleasant staff. The show was also well worth seeing and the dinner I had at the theatre was very good and reasonably priced and the service was good on what was a very busy evening
We stayed as a stop gap as i went to cornwall in the day and did not want to drive back late.
