A pleasant return to Plymouth where I went to school. Know the area very well and can highly recommend a visit. Local beaches and villages are brilliant; as are the walks on the moor. You must visit The Dolphin pub as it is one of the more down to earth establishments and not at all pretentious.

Hotel was ugly but the view from the room was excellent. Room was fine and kept wonderfully clean by staff. Breakfasts were good but not hot enough and this includes cups of tea and coffee. Lots of tables in restaurant wonky but staff very friendly and helpful. Again, view stupendous this time from restaurant. Disappointed not being able to go for evening meal without booking beforehand. Did not book because never sure what we were going to do during day. Could see restaurant from our room and it never looked full! We found Plymouth(once we got used to finding our way around)a delightful place to stay and the hotel was ideally situated.

We have a short break in Plymouth once a year because we love it. For the last four years we have stayed at the Quality Hotel to the side of The Hoe. All the rooms look out over Plymouth Sound. It is very close to all the main attractions like the shopping centre, The Barbican, The Aquarium. This year we visited Saltram House (National Trust), which is just outside Plymouth. It is well worth a visit, a jewel in Plymouth's crown.

We had a very relaxing time in Plymouth, this hotel is easy walking for both the city centre and the Barbican, even for my disabled husband. The view over the Hoe from our room and the restaurant was fantastic.Shopping is good, so is the easy access to Dartmoor.

We stayed at the Quality Hotel in Plymouth on route to our holiday in Port Isaac. It was very pleasant and after travelling through the night to get there we were pleased to have somewhere to rest. The room was very clean but I think the best way to describe it was shabby chic. The service in the restraunt was very good and every one went out of their way to be helpful.
