The 3-star Coachouse Hotel and Restaurant was originally built in 1856 for the Duke of Bedford and much of its charm and character has been maintained in its renovation. It is located on the edge of Dartmoor in the tiny hamlet of Ottery and two miles from historic Tavistock in a valley of outstanding natural beauty. Rooms are equipped with an en-suite shower room or bathroom, TV, central heating, direct dial telephone, radio and tea and coffee making facilities. The restaurant is light and airy and opens out onto the terrace overlooking a small walled garden and pond. There are also two lounge bars where guests can completely relax and enjoy the rural setting.
