The imperial hotel is in a excellent spot on the edge of the town centre with plenty of shops and cafe`s. The view from the front of the hotel is lovley overlooking the review. Where you can take walks in both dicrections. We had a room around the back as are a lot of the rooms. A bit noisey due to beeing a saturday night. The hotel is really lovley. The restaurant is top class. The hotel is not for the young and livley, more for the 50 years age group plus.
Visited Bideford en route to Barnstaple Arrived at Imperial to welcoming staff and excellent dinner. Walked the Tarka Trail to Braunton and back.
6.5miles of coastal path along the Tarka trail. Plus other visits!
My son and his partner and myself came to Barnstaple for a nephews wedding. The hotel was beautiful with food and service to match - The Imperial Hotel. The shopping was great with a lovely market and lots of shops in the shopping centres and on the high street. Had lunch at a beautifully located hotel The Sandy cove at Berrynabor overlooking the sea - fabulous!
Visited friends in Bideford on Saturday. They came to us at the Hotel for dinner in the evening. Excellent meal. Visited Rosemoor RHS Gardens on Sunday bit of a washout unfortunately.
