The ascot house was originally built in 1892 by mr w h baxter as a traditional victorian family residence. It has now been elegantly transformed into a 19-bedroom hotel. for home-from-home comfort, all bedrooms have en suite bath/shower, trouser press, iron & ironing board well-lit desk, telephone, tv, radio/alarm, hairdryer, tea/coffee facilities and electric blankets. the ascot room, a cosy sitting room with open fires in the winter, is the perfect place to enjoy afternoon tea or just curl up with a good book.
