Beck Hall was built in 1710 and has been providing accommodation since the 1930's and a 2 minute walk into Malham village to visit either of the fine pubs that will quench any thirst. Malham is a small town and one of the most visited villages in the Yorkshire Dales where there are shops, pubs and teashops galore. There are also bus links with Skipton, Leeds, Bradford and Wakefield. And you can catch the train from London to Skipton, which is a pleasant 9 mile walk away. The Lake District, Kendal and Windermere are an hours drive.
